Summary:
We saw the sign seen above, as we were driving around looking for a seafood restaurant. It was our first stop. The words Ocean Garden leaped out at us, followed by the lower marquee stating they had prime rib and crab legs.
As we walked in, the first impression was Scotty had made a wrong setting when he beamed us down. This was not what we were expecting. It was a Chinese restaurant, nothing more, nothing less.
There was no sign of prime rib, and no sign of any crab legs, and it was right in the middle of supper time. We were asked it we would like crab legs, and since that is not something I decide as soon as I walk in the door, I would have rather seen them on the buffet, so I could decide as I made selections if I wanted any or not. I like to see the food on the buffet before I decide if I want it. If the crab legs have steam coming off them, I will eat them. Otherwise, I pass.
Instead, we found classic Chinese fare, in 75% of the dishes. There was an assortment of dishes that were this and that stuffed with breading and a dash of seafood, some of which was very good.
But, as a seafood buffet, it was a major disappointment. The restaurant was clean, staff were typically attentive, but not friendly.
