I will begin by saying to you, that I am very fussy about things like food quality, service, and cleanliness. I can be brutally honest, and pride myself in finding the things that are very wrong, and bringing them into the light, as I consider what the relative value of a meal is.

Given that, I came into Miyabi, locked, and loaded. I was ready to find every fault they had, and bring them into the light, for you to see. I promise you that.  Call me mean, but I think I am doing you a service by saving you time and money wasted in slop joints, that take your money and leave you disappointed, or worse, sick.
I ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp plate for $17.95, and Kim ordered the teriyaki chicken for $13.50. We received an onion and mushroom flavored soup, then an iceberg salad that was pretty basic, with cucumber, red cabbage and shredded carrots.

We both had the sweet ginger house dressing. It was very unusual. Kim loved it. It was not my cup of tea, but very nice.
In the center of the grill to the rear left, you will see two pieces of grouper. That is one order, and each piece is about 8 inches long by 4 inches wide. You can see the order of scallops near it.

Petersin, our chef, was a solid 10, all the way. He began with three pieces of shrimp for an appetizer, and a stir fry vegetable medley.

Then, came the meal. My  shrimp was so tender and juicy it just melted in my mouth. I had Kim try it and when his eyes rolled back in his head, I knew he finally figured out why I love shrimp so much. I haven't had shrimp that fabulous in a very long time.

Petersin brought it to the grill still frozen. Since shrimp is only safe when kept chilled to 60 degrees or less, up to the time it is cooked, I felt very safe eating the shrimp, knowing it been kept at the proper temperature. That is something you never know when you are in the dining room and the chef is in the kitchen preparing your food.  It gave me a good feeling.
The chicken was the same thing, super tender, juicy, cooked to absolute perfection.  Right behind it, the beef was tremendous.

The beef I requested medium well done, and it was exactly that. Not red, not overcooked meat turned into boot leather. It was perfect.

There was a little showmanship see above, and below, from time to time, that was very entertaining. with the flaming onion volcano, and the grill set ablaze. Petersin really loves his work, he has fun with it.
The rice that Petersin prepared was excellent. It was cooked absolutely perfect, not too hard as it would be if under-cooked, not too soft, as it would be if over-cooked, then fried it with ginger and soy sauce. He served a huge portion to each person at our table, ensuring nobody would go home hungry, and everybody would have enough of the meal left, to enjoy another full meal when they got home.

Each plate had huge portions of the chosen selection. My plate, shown above is only half of what I had. I took home almost that much, which was equal to what I ate. Talk about value, you won't find better value when you consider the outstanding quality, and the portions.
Let me tell you about the advantages to this establishment. One, it is immaculately clean, not a speck of dirt to be found, anywhere, and when I say it is clean, as fussy as I am, you know it is clean.

Two, they are totally professional. Each staff member takes their job seriously, and they work hard to be perfect. Not good, perfect. It is exactly what I look for, when searching out the best places for you. The best part is the food is fresh and hot. It isn't sitting under a heat lamp waiting for the waiter to realize it is  there and bring it to you.

As hard as I tried,  I could find no faults at all. Kim gave it a 10. I gave it a 10. It ranks tops, and was the second restaurant in the area to claim a perfect score of 10. They were listed first, because in a tie breaker, I found their restroom to be spectacular. The best I have ever seen.
It was immaculate, with beautiful marble walls and counters, brass sink taps, a baby changing alcove which is so much better than holding up the handicap stall with mothers changing diapers. Somebody had their thinking caps on there. The sitting area was a very nice touch with large mirror, excellent lighting and was very large and roomy.  It would be a perfect place for nursing mothers to sit if a quick feeding was required. You must check it out while you are there.

Total cost of the meals $35.39, a bargain. Tip to Liz ( the ticket said her name was Billy Gene) and Petersin $10.00, total cost $45.69. It was the best value restaurant we have seen so far. You must try it.

This establishment always has a packed parking lot.  We decided to find out why. We entered and were seated immediately, though the restaurant was very busy. It is a very large restaurant, with fast service.
Our server Liz was friendly and took our orders, delivered the first two courses and got us set up with some beverages. She came around constantly to refill them, without bothering us at all. She was quiet as a mouse and a real professional. Atta Girl Atta Girl. She is the best female server we have had so far.
