Summary:

With the invention of the buffet restaurant, and the growing popularity, it has become a lunch time favorite for the working class lunch breaks. That would normally be a good thing, but it this case, it is progress gone terribly wrong.

We walked into this restaurant at lunch time, on a  Monday morning. It was in the Galleria Shopping Center, where we had reviewed a time share plan, and since it was there, we decided to give it a try. That was a mistake.

The restaurant was full of construction crew workers, who were filthy dirty, and hadn't bother to clean themselves up before entering the restaurant. The carpet in the dining area was filthy, with huge areas full of dirt, under the tables, in front of the tables, in several areas. While there were many empty tables in the dining area, we were seated right next to one huge filthy area, where construction workers had dumped the equivalent of buckets full of dirt from the bottom of their boots all around us.

I watched as each table full of workers left, the table was cleaned off, and the dirt was left on the carpet. Then another group of people were sat at the same table, inspite of other cleaner areas of the restaurant being open. At no time was any attempt made to clean this increasingly filthy carpet.

It was that reason, alone that this restaurant failed.
