International House Of Pancakes IHOP, Breakfast And Coffee House Review

International House Of Pancakes IHOP Review, Hours of operation and directios to IHOP in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Short Review: Older but still one of the best IHOPs in South Carolina, less crowded then the Dennys nearby and the food is consistent with other IHOP locations.
Summary: Comfortable music at just the right volume, the free Internet worked very well.

Pictures of IHOP in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

One of our orders was a crab and shrimp omelet for around $9, it was a huge omelet loaded with seafood, topped with shredded cheese, paprika and chopped tomatoes. We added an order of pancakes, and upgraded to the nut and grain, for an extra $0.99. Thinking this would be a tiny omelet, I had added hash browns at $1.99. From the photos understate just how big the hash browns or pancakes actually were. The breakfast meal was hot, and excellent.

We were in an odd mood for our next order of liver and onions for around $7, added whole kernel corn with Texas toast. The liver came as two large slices, which are partially hidden by the corn on top. It was very well prepared and surprisingly wonderful!

Our final order was a bowl of chili with French fries. Allison was our server each time we visited this location. She was friendly, greeted us promptly, and gave us great service. The dining area was very clean, as were the restrooms.

The neighborhood seems safe, the Dennys a few blocks away packs in more business depending on special deals and marketing between the two.

IHOP versus Dennys - if both locations are of unknown quality, I always choose Dennys over IHOP. Partially because IHOPs across the country are among the most unpredictable chain restaurants. Having visited both IHOP and Dennys on Kings many times they are fairly well matched, both are among the best locations to represent their own chain. Staff and management at both locations have high standards, consider personal taste of each menu, shortest wait times for seating or service and most important to us is the quality of the free WiFi. The WiFi at IHOP tips the scale for us nearly every-time.

On the days where Dennys WiFi is working properly... look out IHOP.
